Our redesign approach

1. Discovery & planning

Our discovery and planning process involves in-depth research into your organization’s needs and audience, gathering key insights to shape a tailored, strategic approach for your website.

2. Content strategy and website structure

In the content strategy and website structure phase, we organize information and craft messaging that guides users seamlessly, ensuring your content aligns with your mission and resonates with your audience.

3. Design

We develop a user-centered, accessible design through iterative feedback cycles, refining each element to ensure an intuitive, inclusive experience that aligns with your organization’s goals and audience needs.

4. Development

Our development team builds a modern, flexible site on an open-source framework like WordPress or Drupal, providing a robust foundation that’s easy to manage and adaptable to your organization’s evolving needs.

5. Testing & launch

We collaborate closely with you to incorporate your feedback, assist with content migration, and ensure a seamless, efficient launch that aligns with your vision and meets top performance standards.

6. Training & ongoing support

We equip your team with the training and resources to manage day-to-day updates confidently, while partnering with you long-term to support technical needs and add new features.

Choosing Brooks Digital for our website project was a super decision for our Y. They clearly had the technical strength, creativity, and flexibility to deliver on a new website but those qualifications were enhanced with thorough, thoughtful communication both in meeting and print format.

Logistics

Duration

A website redesign typically takes 4-12 months, depending on the complexity of the site, the level of involvement you’d like to take on, and your team’s availability. (Faster timelines often add stress to the process.)

Scheduling

We have openings for 1-2 new website projects per quarter. The wait time to get started can range from 1-4 months—we’ll share our most up-to-date schedule when you book a consult call with us.

Participation requirements

The project’s primary point of contact (usually the Director of Marketing) will need to set aside 3-5 hours/week for the project’s duration. As the site gets closer to launch, this can increase to around 10 hours/week for a few weeks, depending on its complexity and who is responsible for importing the website content.

Other stakeholders will need to set aside about 3 hours to participate in the discovery & planning process and a similar amount of time for the content strategy and design phases to review and provide feedback on deliverables.

Cost

Website redesign pricing ranges from $50,000 – $150,000, depending on the complexity of the site and number of pages.
